The Alaska Young Democrats (AKYD) has been the premier progressive organization for young Alaskans since 1949. We are a statewide network promoting Democratic values and principles through the Alaska Democratic Party and community activism. AKYD members are under 36 years old, not a registered Republican, and have attended at least 2 AKYD events (informal or formal) and/or the State Convention.
